History

In 1950, our founder Mustafa Kip first worked as a BMC truck distributor in Akhisar,Manisa then opened a branch in Izmir in the early 60s and in 1975, he terminated the business with BMC and became the Aegean Region Distributor of Genoto BedFord.

TEMEL CONTA is the oldest and first gasket factory in Turkey, which started its production in İzmir Pınarbaşı/Işıkkent facility with TEMEL CONTA brand in 1974. The management of the company continues today with the second generation and third generation family members. Family owned and run since 1974 and operated by the second generation and third generation family members.
